President

Katherine is a leading, nationally-recognized expert in the design, preparation, and dissemination of legal notice in class actions and bankruptcies. She has developed and directed some of the country's largest and most complex national notification programs in cases involving asbestos, home siding products, infant formula, polybutylene plumbing, pharmaceuticals, securities, and tobacco.

Katherine brings to her firm and to the Courts more than 30 years of experience in high-level communications strategy in the fields of advertising, marketing, and public relations. She has held creative and management oversight responsibilities for a variety of clients - ranging from political candidates and advocacy groups to national associations and corporations.

Prior to establishing her own business, Katherine was Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing and Advertising for The Kamber Group, helping the firm become, during her tenure, the largest independently-owned communications company in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, she handled national advertising, direct mail and marketing clients. During her 12 years at that firm, she also served as Director of the Public Affairs Division, which included all public relations, marketing, corporate communications and advertising operations.




Vice President

Andrew is responsible for the oversight of firm-wide operations and the design and implementation of client notification programs. Joining the firm in 1994, Andrew has special expertise in the design of large consumer, energy and state-wide cases particularly those in California.

Prior to joining KNC, Andrew was an Account Executive with The Kamber Group where he spent five years working with corporate and public interest clients to achieve their communication goals through advertising, marketing, media relations, and special events. He also worked with Whittle Communications, L.L.P., as an account executive for the Medical News Network (MNN), a 12- to 15- minute daily news program produced for physicians.




Senior Media Analyst

Maureen has more than 30 years experience in media buying and planning. During this time, she has held high management positions in the media departments at BBDO Worldwide and Bayer Bess Vanderwarker, as well as positions in media research sales and marketing at Nielsen. She personally directed national spot broadcast buying for accounts such as Dodge, Ameritech, US West, Wrigley, and Quaker. In addition to working with KNC, Maureen conducts professional training seminars in media planning and buying throughout the country as a Senior Instructor for the Media Buying Academy.




Systems Administrator

John oversees and advises on the technical aspects of notification, specializing in Web site design and administration for our clients' sites. He also designs the firm's long form and publication print notices. Prior to joining KNC in 1998, John was a computer graphics specialist at The Kamber Group where he served eight years producing and administering client Web sites, designing and programming interactive CD-ROM presentations and information kiosks and providing digital pre-press support for the art department. He also served as a systems manager for the US Department of State in US embassy posts overseas, earning a Meritorious Honor Award at the US embassy in Moscow for his work there.
